We know visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating. Our desire at Mountain Springs Baptist Church is simple: to honor the Lord Jesus Christ and to make every guest feel genuinely welcomed.
Whether you’ve attended church your whole life or this is your first time in many years, we want you to feel comfortable when you walk through our doors.
Sunday School – 10:00 AM
Sunday Morning Worship – 11:00 AM
Sunday Afternoon Service – 2:00 PM
Wednesday Evening Bible Study – 7:00 PM
We encourage guests to arrive about 10–15 minutes early so you can find seating and get settled without feeling rushed.
What Is a Typical Service Like?
At Mountain Springs Baptist Church, you can expect:
- Traditional congregational hymn singing,
- Prayer and Scripture reading,
- Clear, practical Bible preaching from the King James Bible,
- A respectful and reverent atmosphere,
- Our goal is not entertainment, but worship – honoring God and strengthening believers through His Word,
- A typical Sunday Morning service lasts about 60-75 minutes,
- At the end of the message, there is an invitation where people may pray at the altar or make spiritual decisions. You are never required to participate, only if the Holy Spirit leads you to.
- You’ll find a range of attire on Sundays. Some men wear suits and ties; others dress more business casual. Ladies typically wear dresses or modest attire, including pants. You may see some people in jeans as well. Please wear what is comfortable and respectful for you. You will be warmly received either way.
- You’ll be greeted at the door,
- Someone can help you find the sanctuary or a Sunday School class,If you have children, we’ll direct you to the appropriate class or nursery area,
- We will have a visitor’s card available so you can share your contact information if you choose.
We care deeply about families.
- Sunday School classes are available for children of various ages,
- Nursery is available during services,
- Children are welcome in the main service if you prefer to keep them with you.
- The offering is for regular attendees. As our guest, please do not feel any obligation to give.
Do I have to be a member to attend?
- Not at all. Visitors are always welcome.
- That’s perfectly fine. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. We also display hymns and scriptures on a projector screen.
- Most services last about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
